Former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Jason Miller is back behind bars.

Miller, 39, was charged Tuesday after he allegedly committed a residential burglary and car theft against someone he knew in Irvine, Calif., police told NBC Los Angeles.

Miller, who is on probation in a domestic violence case, pleaded not guilty to felony counts of first-degree burglary, unlawful taking of a vehicle and grand theft auto. He’s currently jailed in nearby Newport Beach and is being held without bail until a Sept. 2 pretrial hearing.

This marks the latest in a string of “Mayhem” run-ins with the law through the years. Perhaps most notorious among them was a 2014 instance in which Miller barricaded himself inside his home and live-tweeted a standoff with police who attempted to serve him an arrest warrant.

Most recently in July 2019, Miller pleaded guilty to felony vandalism and misdemeanor violation of a restraining order, a case in which he trashed his girlfriend’s home. Miller pleaded guilty to domestic violence in 2017 and was sentenced two months later to 124 days in jail and released with credit for time served, according to NBC LA.

Miller, 39, fought sporadically in the UFC, WEC and Strikeforce throughout his 13-year career. He last competed in May 2016, losing by second-round submission in a fight in Italy.
